Eye Care Appointments

I took my mom here for some eye exams, and everyone was great. Thomas began the exam process and was so welcoming and friendly, thoroughly explaining it to my mom and me. It was great to see someone try their hardest to speak in Spanish to make my mom more comfortable. Dr. Purdy was also very thorough and transparent on what surgery is needed and how to take care of herself after the operation. He was also bilingual, which is always a plus. All the nurses and front staff were fantastic. When you arrive, you’ll scan your ID and insurance card, so make sure you have them handy. Ample parking is available.

Firstly, the 5 stars go to Dr. Tafoya!! Probably has the best bedside manner of any doctor I have ever been to! And I’ve been to many!! He removed all fears at the thought of having cataract surgery in both eyes. He answered all my questions and stayed open to me asking more. At no point did i ever feel like i was bothering him or wasting his time!! My eyes healed perfectly, as expected, after surgery. And I couldn’t be happier! Even during surgery, the process was seamless and almost like nothing ever happened! Additionally, the 5 stars go to the meticulous system they have for making appointments, announcing them, and confirming them. 95% of the appts I’ve had with them, I’ve spent no more than 20 mins waiting to be seen!! All the staff do their job well! And because of that, the glitches are little to none!! Very impressed with their attention to the patient!! Would definitely recommend Dr. Tafoya and his team to my loved ones and anyone dreading cataract surgery!! You’ll be in absolute good hands with him!!!

I had an emergency and was treated almost immediately! Everyone from the front desk to the technicians and Dr. de La Torre took me seriously and treated me with patience, concern, and respect. Everyone was professional, well-trained, and well-educated.

I can’t thank Dr. De La Torre and his staff enough for the exceptional care he provided when my son was hit in the eye with a Nerf bullet. We were very worried, but Dr. De La Torre went above and beyond to ensure my son was seen immediately and given the best possible treatment. His calm demeanor and professionalism helped ease our concerns, and his thorough examination reassured us that everything was okay. It’s rare to find a doctor who is so dedicated and genuinely caring. We are incredibly grateful for his attention during this emergency. I highly recommend Dr. De La Torre to anyone looking for a doctor who truly puts patients first.

Registration was fast and easy. Dr. Shelley and his staff were great. Explained everything and made sure that we understood the next steps. Highly recommended
