Dr. Jenell Jackson, MD is a board-certified ophthalmologist and oculofacial surgeon and an Atlanta, Georgia native. She is known for her meticulous surgical technique and personalized approach, taking time with each patient to understand their concerns and develop a treatment plan tailored to their individual goals.
Dr. Jackson’s surgical expertise includes upper and lower blepharoplasty, ptosis repair, entropion and ectropion correction, eyelid retraction repair, dacryocystorhinostomy (tear duct surgery). She also offers select non-surgical facial rejuvenation treatments, including botox, and dermal fillers.

Education and Medical Training
Dr. Jackson earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Georgia in Athens, Georgia. She received her medical degree, graduating cum laude, from Morehouse School of Medicine in Atlanta, Georgia. She then completed a Transitional Year internship at Christiana Care Health System in Newark, Delaware, followed by an ophthalmology residency at the renowned Cook County Health and Hospitals System in Chicago, Illinois.
During residency, she further specialized through an oculoplastics and facial trauma fellowship at Consultants in Ophthalmic and Facial Plastic Surgery in Southfield, Michigan, refining advanced techniques in eyelid, orbital, and facial reconstructive and cosmetic surgery.
