Mesa – Cataract & Glaucoma Center  

The Southwest Eye Institute Mesa Cataract & Glaucoma Center is located at 4171 North Mesa Street, Building D, Suite 100, El Paso, TX 79902. The Mesa clinic focuses on cataract evaluations, glaucoma testing and treatment, and the ongoing management of eye conditions. It also provides comprehensive eye exams, dry eye treatment, keratoconus care, diagnostic testing, specialty consultations, and evaluation of urgent eye concerns. Available services may depend on your condition and the doctor you are scheduled to see.

The Mesa location is a clinic rather than a surgery center. Patients can receive examinations, diagnostic testing, consultations for cataracts and glaucoma, and follow-up care at this location. If surgery is recommended, the Southwest Eye Institute team will coordinate your procedure at an appropriate surgical facility and provide the necessary instructions.

Bring a photo ID, your medical and vision insurance cards, a current medication list, and any glasses or contact lenses you use. Appointment times vary based on the type of examination, diagnostic testing, and whether your eyes need to be dilated. If your exam includes dilation, plan to spend approximately one to two hours at the clinic.

Because wait times and testing needs can vary, allow extra time in your schedule and consider bringing a book, headphones, or another quiet activity. Dilation can cause temporary blurry vision and light sensitivity, so bring sunglasses and consider arranging a driver if you are concerned about driving afterward.
